There is also a taxi ferry that can take you to Praia Da Rocha just over the water and Ferragudo is also on the route for the Rota Das Falesias, the hop on, hop off bus service that takes the cliff route, so car hire is not essential.
You will not be disappointed with this gem in the Algarve.
